Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using Aven.

Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Aven mobile application ("App") and related websites, support channels, and services (collectively, the "Service") offered by Padmaren Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the App or Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree, please do not use the App or Service.

Acceptance of Terms

1.1 By using or accessing the App, you confirm that you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any other guidelines or policies we publish.

1.2 We may revise or modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice. Your continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Service Description

2.1 Aven is a Christian companion app. It provides Christian wallpapers, shareable status content, ringtones, a Bible reader, subscriptions where offered, and related features designed to support your daily faith (collectively, the "Service").

2.2 You acknowledge that features, languages, Bible translations, content, quality, and availability may change, be added, paused, or removed at our discretion.

2.3 Aven is a consumer application. We are not a bank, payment system operator, or licensed payment aggregator. We do not hold, transmit, or settle funds on your behalf. All payment processing occurs through third-party apps and their respective providers.

Accounts & Eligibility

3.1 To use certain features, you may need to register an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information.

3.2 You are responsible for safeguarding your account and device. You must notify us immediately at hello@padmarentech.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3.3 You must be at least 18 years old to register on the App. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3.4 If you are under 18, you shall not create an account. You may use the App only under parental or guardian supervision and only in accordance with applicable laws.

3.5 We reserve the right to deny service, refuse registration, or suspend or terminate accounts in our discretion, including for breach of these Terms or suspected misuse.

Permissions & Service Availability

4.1 To deliver core features, the App may request permissions such as storage or media access, permission to modify system settings (to set wallpapers and ringtones), notification access, and network access. You agree to grant only those permissions needed for features you choose to use.

4.2 Service delivery depends on your device settings, battery optimization, operating system version, and network connectivity. We do not guarantee that every download, notification, or content update will be instantaneous, error-free, or complete.

4.3 App content, including Scripture, Bible translations, prayers, verses, wallpapers, and encouragement, is provided for personal devotion and informational purposes. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on App content. Aven content must not be treated as professional medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice, or as a substitute for pastors, counselors, or other qualified experts.

User Content & Conduct

6.1 You may submit content such as feedback, support messages, or other materials you provide through the Service ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.

6.2 By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, adapt, and distribute it in connection with operating, improving, and supporting the Service.

6.3 You represent that (i) you own or have rights to all User Content you submit, and (ii) such content does not violate laws, defame, infringe copyright, or violate privacy.

6.4 We may remove or moderate User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law, without prior notice.

Subscriptions, Purchases & Billing

7.1 Certain features may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. Prices, billing cycles, and included features will be disclosed before you complete a purchase.

7.2 Purchases made through the App may be processed by app store providers (such as Google Play) or other payment partners. Their terms may also apply to your transaction.

7.3 Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period through the applicable app store or as otherwise instructed in the App. You are responsible for managing renewals and cancellations.

7.4 Taxes may apply based on your location and the information you provide at the time of purchase.

7.5 We may change pricing or plans with reasonable notice where required. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance unless you cancel before the change takes effect.

Termination

8.1 We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, repeated infringement, misuse, non-payment, or as required by law.

8.2 Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may delete or block your data subject to our Privacy Policy and data retention practices.

8.3 You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion by contacting hello@padmarentech.com.

Intellectual Property

9.1 All content, software, designs, trademarks, and other materials in the App ("App Content") are owned or licensed by us or our licensors. All rights are reserved except as expressly granted in these Terms. Certain Bible translations, music, or images may be provided under license from third parties and remain subject to their terms.

9.2 We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App, and to use downloaded wallpapers, statuses, and ringtones for your own personal, non-commercial use.

9.3 You must not use Aven trademarks, logos, or proprietary marks without our prior written consent.

Disclaimers & Warranty

10.1 The Service and App Content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

10.2 We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the Service, or the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of notifications or any content.

10.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (and our officers, employees, affiliates, and partners) will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Padmaren Technologies, its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

Eligibility & Representations

You affirm that you are legally competent to enter into these Terms, that you are not barred from receiving services under applicable laws, and that you are not listed on any applicable denied-party or sanctions list that would prohibit your use of the Service.

Assignment

These Terms, and your rights under them, may not be transferred or delegated by you without our consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India (excluding conflict-of-law principles). Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located at our registered office in Karnataka, India.

Refund Policy

Purchases and subscriptions are subject to our refund and cancellation rules. Unless required by applicable law or expressly approved by us, fees are generally non-refundable. Read more in our Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Communication Consent

By creating an account or providing your contact details, you acknowledge that we may contact you for account-related, transactional, operational, and customer-support purposes through channels including in-app notifications, email, SMS, and WhatsApp.

These communications may include verification messages, subscription updates, payment confirmations, service announcements, or critical operational updates required for uninterrupted access to Aven.

Promotional communication may be sent only if you have opted in. You may withdraw consent for promotional communication at any time by contacting hello@padmarentech.com or using opt-out options where provided.

Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will attempt to notify you in advance through the App or other reasonable means. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
